SC with dual IC?
SC with dual IC?
Does anyone know if this has been done before or if it's even possible.
I saw a post recently with dual ICs that the connected back to a common pipe.

Could this setup bee connected to a Vortech or Stillen SC?

i think if you have two regular size ic with your sc, the car will take longer to reach optimum temp for performance..... i know that heat is a huge problem for sc, especially with the stillen, but i think the one that comes with the kit is suffice......
You can do it but you will be increasing your lag and not gain much from it. Most of the Dual IC setups are for TT. That post is a TT not a S/C, notice there is no blower under the hood, just intake pipe.
The Stillen S/C has heat soaking issues because the Air:Water IC in the plenum is so small. I added water wetter to mine and used the MD Isothermal gasket to try and help a little.

But would dual ICs be better if I am using the stock or Nimos front bumper.
I would think that with a single FMIC the bumper would block a lot of the IC area but using dual ICs might be better.
Any additional thoughts?

your stock bumbper doesnt block all that much air from getting to your FMIC. Yes you can run the dual ic but they would have to be small ones and its more weight and I think youll lose power more than anything.

Simple to calculate as every 11F is 1% denser charge and every [losted/gained] PSI is +- 6.8% [corrected to STD temperature] denser charge.
Air to Air : Lose 0.5 psi in extra plumbing better drop plenum temperature by [3.4 x11=37F] to be lossless...........
Always have an in plenum temp sensor [fast responding accurate electrical type] to watch what's happening in the system.
