Can you really get 440 WHP or 510 for that matter from an HKS? I thought this was only good for around 70 hp, one of the most conservative options out there?

sickg35 is running a vortech s/c with a HKS FCON full standalone EMS not the HKS s/c.

It depends on the tune, an HKS Pro Dealer can tune the F-con. Mine is a very conservitive tune 11.5 A/F, 7psi boost, and no other mods except for a crawford plenum and a fuji cat back. Best pull was around 330 and 318 tq, So mine from the base dyno was just under a hundred at the at the wheels. HKS now has a 9 lb pulley available. But I wanted mine to be very dependable so I stayed conservative. There is also a big misconception about the dyno #'s on the HKS it makes a bit more power earlier than some of the others. Overall, I am pleased with the set-up. but even with headers, pulley, cats and y-pipe I with a consevative tune should make another 40 to the wheels. One more thing on the HKS is they are not and might not be available in the US for sometime from what I am hearing.

Sorry, not trying to be a jerk but since so many EM solutions(Emanage Ultimate, Utec, etc) are using Celsius it's important people know how to get it right. F=(C*9/5)+32. Congrats on the install. Pop that built motor in there and you'll be ready to go.

very nice....i'm actually planning to tune my car at that same shop around mid april after my motor is finished....how much did you pay for everything? I got an estimate of something around $5100 which includes all sensors, harness, ECU, and knock amp, etc. including tuning. I personally think this is somewhat overpriced, but as i've heard around this is a very reputable shop for tuning Z's/G's. I think the knock amp alone was priced at $1800?
