I was unable to find it anywhere with the search option, I was wondering if the MREV+ is compatible with a supercharge like the Vortech. I plan on getting the Vortech supercharger when it is released for the 05-06 G35, but in the mean time I was contemplating getting the MREV+. I have already bought headers and hopefully will have them installed this week

It will work even better on a Vortech than the stock plenum.

Several people on the Z board have tried it with FI and found it works much better than the stock collector.

It has also lost people torque. Go look on my350z. Even TT cars lose torque.

So what is the difference between the 280hp lower collector and the 298hp collector? I've never seen pics of them side by side. Are they drastically different? Does one have longer runners than the other? I saw Tony's post over on my350z and saw the comments of putting the 298hp collector on a 280hp motor and saw only hp increases at the very top and loss of hp everywhere else. Is there any way we can modify the 298hp collector so that we can keep the hp down low and have the increase in hp up top? Or is the flaw in the design of the collector and can't be remedied?

Yes. The stock collector lost power and torque everywhere relative to the MREV setup.

I think you may be confusing one for the other.
The MREV (280 HP collector w/spacer) produces much more area under the curve than the 298 collector.

And no, the 298 collector cannot be modified to keep the HP and TQ down low. The runners are too short.
