great choice......I said the same thing.....only gonna boost 6lbs!! YEAH RIGHT..... I've now tuned the car at 7lbs low boost(387rwhp) and 8lbs give me the numbers below my sig.

again great choice on the greddy kit. I like the fact that there are far more expierienced people who can tune this set-up as upposed to the other kits on the market!

Hey Peter...Mark's car should be done in the next week or two. German installed his GReddy TT kit. I'm sure we can schedule a little meet up at the shop to discuss specifics.

I'm probably going GReddy TT also in the near future.

Apparently you have decided to far exceed your $6300 "budget" that you indicated initially? You should meet up with some fellow DFW G's ... we have our monthly meet this Friday. Hyperlitesmu (a.k.a. SC hater with the constantly broken TT G ) has the Greddy TT kit and I'm running a Vortech SC. I think Hyperlite is afraid to run me and admit he was beaten by a SC running "stock" boost

This still seems to be such a love/hate thing between SC and TT. You made a pretty quick decision and I'm sure you will be happy with it, just don't give in to the temptation of increasing the boost or you can add a new motor to your list of upgrades.

Stupid Jon, My car runs fine and at a very conservative setting. Plus the extra weight of the full system, then you factor in the weight of my fat a$$. Now all of the sudden it would get smoked by a Honda....or a Mitsu with no alternator in your case. Regardless The focus is on the GTR now, but if Ivory wanted to get a feel for both he should come to the meet this week and check them out for himself......oh wait that's right the G will be at home and the GTR will be there.....I guess he can't this week.

It's moot now that IvoryGT-V has already decided on the Greddy setup. It was just interesting to me that he initially indicated that he wanted to spend around $6300. I don't know firsthand but from what I have seen from others, a Greddy system can cost upwards of $10,000 when all is said and done. Of course you will have invested in a FI system that is indeed capable of crazy horsepower but without building the block you can only go so far...

A Greddy TT setup at 6psi should provide a FI setup with significant performance gains over stock in addition to having a relatively safe setup. If you never plan to move forward and go higher boost then you really aren't gaining anything by going with the more expensive twin turbo setup outside of a negligable spool time difference and a bit more low-end torque than a supercharger. All this at a pretty significant difference in price. Then again, if cost is not a factor then why not go all out!

True true. But whatever kit you go with be sure to go to GS, they are the best around......No one like Velocity is out there, or Alamo, or Jotech, GS is IT! I love our skewed install shop suggestions on this board.

I know they are Team16Niss sponsors and as part of your obligation to them you need to send business their way but at least mention the other shops......what if the poor guys lives in Irving....Alamo is right across the street and GS is further away......I mean at least give the guy an option to save some gas money and have it done close to his house.
