Damn Brian I remember when you picked your car up from GRD, sorry to hear about the blown engine but I'm sure it will come out 10 times better than before.

Nah its long gone but I'll be more than ready to purchase an 07/08 G when they come out. Have you decided who is going to do the build?

I can't remember were you FI or NA? No, I have a lot of research to go before I make a decision. I'm in no hurry to blow $10K+, maybe I should just sell it as is.

Yeah I had the APS TT kit as well and sold my car with it.. I wasn't looking forward to the possibility of having to build the engine and with trying to start my own business it just would not have worked out.

Just wondering, but you knew there was a significant chance of this happening, right? Why didn't you lower you're boost, to say 5psi, for daily driving?

besides the car is mostly out of boost for daily driving stuff anyway right?

You cant just lower the boost on the APS kit like that, once tuned that is pretty much what you go with.

Drop in restrictor plates, easy as pie. Auxillary throttle body. Restrictive air filter all are easy detunes.

A typical electronic boost controller won't allow for on-the-fly adjustments with the APS TT?

Just call junkyards and get some prices on long blocks. I picked mine up for 1300.00 Put it back to stock and sell the kit for 5500.00
