Smile Does anyone have Greddy TT

Does anyone have the Greddy TT kit without any building of the engine. The kit comes with everything needed. As from I am told. I am gonna go this setup and would like to see how long you guys have had it.

Yup i do, stock internals......3 months now no probs boost under 9psi and tuned right. very happy with it. you just gotta know that turning up the boost past 9-10psi can lead to trouble!!

The kit does not come with everything needed. You need to buy a BOV, fuel pump, and an ignition harness for the emange so you can retard timing. Also if you are going to up the boost past 8 psi I would recommend you buy a fuel return system.

you are not safe with out a way to retard the timing. Don't blow your motor because you didn't buy a $45 ignitino harness.

i'm about to buy this kit this week but Greddy says you need to wire in DIodes to run there ignition harness??? I've never heard of that before??? The guy said the stock coils will blow out without the diodes, i'm also stuck between the greddy kit and maybe considering a modified turbonetics kit (tial gate, greddy bov, AAM reflash of the ecu) but I have a 2006 and I dont think they make a kit for my car yet

you should install diodes as well as never leave your key in the on position with out the car running for longer than a minute. Not that there is a need to have the key in the on position with out the car running for longer than a minute. I ran the emange and EU for several months and never burned a coil. You can buy the diodes at radio shack. do a search over at my350z for the part number.

Is never heard of the diodes? Are the harness and the diodes easy to install.

I never heard of them either until I read them on my350z.com. It's nothing major. It is a just a metal little thing that you run inbetween the emanage and the ecu on the ignition harness. Diodes are semiconductor devices which might be described as passing current in one direction only. It will not make the install any harder. They are basically like the crimpers (sp and wording) you use to secure wires together.

no, but you stand the risk of burning coils if you don't. Nothing to get concerned about with the install it won't take any more time and they cost less than $10.

hahaha that's what everyone says. I am at 16psi with my Greddy and I want more. You will enjoy it at whatever power you tune it to....better than stock.
