We have installed the JWT TT kit on a few rev-up motors.

right now you're stuck with Greddy, APS ST or TT and JWT. One thing that you'll notice with them and that is they have a tunable EMS, well not sure with the JWT though. It's pretty much the EM that is holding other manufacturer and once TN release their 1.5 the REVUP kit will come right after that.

APS kits wont work on 2006 revup cars b/c of the different stearing rack, im not sure about other ones on the 06

All the kits will fit on the 2005 revup but you might have to use a different EMS then what originaly came with the kit.

I really don't want to run a piggyback computer. My car is a true daily driver, and the last thing I want (need) is to have to a finicky vehicle.

There are no "true" standalones that will run a g35 and still have it be a daily driver. Everything is a piggy back, even the almighty Fcon Vpro which i was going to run till i found out it wont work on the revup motor.

The difference is how they all work with the stock ECU. Everyone making big power on DD's is using a piggy back. The only g35's you will see with a full standalone are pure race cars b/c they arnt worried about keeping climate control, gauges, etc..

Damn, can't remember the exact name but it's a stand alone that replace your actual ECU. I know Performance Motorsports are one of the authorize dealer, so my answer is there is at least 1 and I know there is another one. I'll post when i find it. they cost at least 2k+ though.

What i said was that you will not find a true standalone that you put in a g35 and have it run like a DD should. You are going to loose your gauges, throw codes, climate control will be off, etc...

There are tons of standalones out there that you can run on the G35. I can think of 7 off hand: Motec, Autronic, marelli magneti, AEM EMS, Carmo, EBS, wolf, etc....

I must have not explained myself ,well. I wouldn't want to install a standalone.

I would just liek something that seamlessly integrates in the factory ecu, but it is easily programmable (maybe even user controlled).

Sending my ECU out to technosquare is not my idea of ideal!

Years ago, I used to have a vortech mustang cobra. I used an autologic chip in it. There was a shop nearby that dynoed and tuned these chips. That was ideal to me.

You said you didnt want a piggy back earlier and now you say you want something that integrates into the factory ECU, ie piggyback.

I wasnt trying to be rude just going off what you said. Most of the piggybacks that are out for the vq35de have been pretty proven.

in order from good to best i would say:

Reflash
Emanage Ultimate
Utec
AEM EMS
HKS Fon Vpro

And all of these are user programable except the Fcon

Are you sure the Vpro system does not work on the rev-up engine. I have a customer with a 2005 6MT that is running the Vpro system on his APS TT and is making 600 crank HP with it. Just a question.

Did he disable the VTC system? If you do that it will work, otherwise you have to have the update which is out now i think.
