Vortech Owners
thanks, yeah I have a return system.
actually I messed up my post. Yesterday we were trying to tune and the dyno ran up to 380whp at 6100 rpms. Had we been able to go to redline and had the fuel to, it would have hit 410-415whp - which is around 445-460whp and 360-365 tq on a dynojet.
We were just trying to get some baselines and because we were running out of injector we didn't really do any real tuning. I'm using the 3.12 pulley so there's still lots of room for improvement if I were to upgrade to the 2.87 pulley, but I think the engine is seeing enough stress as is IMO.

Hi! just installed Vortech S/C on my '03 CPV35 M6 with test pipes & JIC Magic Catback Exhaust... I'm having miss-firing problem event at Idle... I can rev the engine slowly but if a load the gas pedal... it starts miss-firing like hell... plugged the wide band on: Air/fuel is OK, reprogramed the Split Second= ok either!, But still can't the Miss-firing source!!! Any Idea!?!?!? please help!!! anthony-72@hotmail.com
Thanks!
Thanks!
It's all in my sig, I have 650cc injectors going in next week along with a Walbro fuel pump. I am also awaiting larger piping for my upgraded FMIC so hopefully with a new tune we should see some new numbers.

With the Unichip we should be able to get it tuned even with the larger injectors, Ted is pretty darn good with this system.
Does the fuel return system come with an FPR also or is that a separate purchase. I hear that just sticking in the walbro will make my fuel milage drop drastically.
Looks like we have similair mods

Hey guys I got an ATI but youre right about sticking in that Walbro you MPG take a big ****. If Im lucky on a full tank and normal daily driving I get 220-250 miles per tank. I'm also running 440cc injectors Im sure that has something to do with it.
Just to compare to the vortech setups-
1/2" plenum spacer, Borla exhuast, test pipes, Greddy EU, 7.5psi boost=382hp,322tq. When I dynoed I have a huge exhuast leak so I know my tq has gone up a lot since then maybe at like 350 now. Also Im running rich to be on the safe side.

I changed the plug with NGK Iridium one step colder plugs... still having the miss-firing issue... Anyone knows if the FMU on the vortech S/C kit might causing the problem even at idle & even if the A/F ratio is ok?!?!?!?
Sentry, first you need to take a break from the board as you are always on
and second as you are in the process of building your car up you must have hook ups and the CJM (spelling) return fuel system for a good price, so help a brother out and get me a discount or if you know of someone who is selling one
