Vortech: pulley bearing noise!?
Got the Dayco 89009 which is indeed the correct pulley. Replaced them today and all my squeaks are gone.

yea mine makes a sqeaking noise, it seems more often when its colder. It kinda of sounds like the belt but its not. i changed all the idler pullies but the noise was still there. maybe the jacknife is the issue? anyone with this same problem?

It could just be a pulley bearing. These bearings are just your run of the mill bearings and could be defective from the factory or have a bad seal where the grease leaks out.
If it's one of the pulley bearings on the mounting plate, that is like a $10 fix. If it's the bearings in the jackshaft (like mine) then it involves a little more work to get the bearings out of the jackshaft assembly. If it's bearings in the blower assembly it will have to go back to Vortech.
Good luck.

Thanks. I still don't have enough experience with the Vortech to know the difference. That's why I sent the car back to GTM. Hopefully it's just the bearing. I don't want to have to wait a few weeks if it's the blower.
