I have owned 5 Subarus, still have 2 of them and when I went looking for a new DD AWD was important. Subaru didn't have anything that I was looking for that I haven't already owned, and didn't really want a SUV so I bought an 05 X. It is my very fist auto out of the 10 cars I have owned, it isn't so bad for a DD, in fact I really love this car. I have my MT toy to drive for fun, but the auto is honestly nice to have in traffic and when my back is acting up.

No 6MT is a bummer for those who need an AWD but still wanted to have a little fun. Atleast they're expanding their line up though.
3850lbs of manufacture claimed weight is pretty damn heavy though. My G is about 400 lbs lighter than that
