You are right, unless I can zip around in a nice lithium ion, hybrid, hydrogen, etc. six speed and POUND gears to get those wheels pushing TORQUE!

In my opinion, using a standard gear box is the only way to drive a car. An automatic transmission feel like there is something "artificial" between the engine and the wheels. Of course, I will still buy my luxury VIP Q45 with an automatic transmission, because...well...they don't come in standard.

imo, a hybrid wouldn't be so bad if it looks as cool as a g35, sounds as cool as a g35, has power and torque like the g35, but with 60MPG

Pretty much all cars will be some kind of eco-friendly vehicles (hybrid, electric, or etc) within 10 years....

peep the new hybrid they have, has about 500hp or some crazy number and its a hybrid. i will have no issues pushin a hybrid if theyre gonna keep the hp high. plus you get a tax break its a win win

hybrids take more energy to manufacture, than they save over their lifespan... when you add the energy used to re-tool entire factories to build these cars, which contributed to that fall of the US automakers, they become even more inefficient...
so buy a hybrid if you want to waste energy, put car companies out of business, and contribute to global warming... (which may not be a bad thing, since 1/100th of a percent of the co2 inthe atmostpehere is manmade, and since satellite data shows a decrease in global temperatures)
