They're going to put the 5.0 liter engine in soon to keep up with the GS460, the Mercedes E550, and the soon to be BMW 550i (twin turbo).

a G50x would go further than q model imo. it would be far cheaper to produce, and would they would therefor sell more of them due to affordability.

Infiniti seriously need to consider a competitive model to go against M3, S4, IS-F & C63. Even Genesis gets a V8 motor. Come on Infiniti, do it already - I know you really want to. Show us performance nuts some love, give us something to brag about. Release two GT-R's with an Infiniti badge on it and make a million posters, bragging rights, Infiniti pride, all you Infiniti people throw your hands up, throw your hands up. At least give us a R-Spec badge like you promised before or you know some fancy body kit to make our cars feel faster. We feel left out, you said the whole Infiniti brand is supposed to be performance oriented and now it seems like you guys just want to built small medium and large SUVs. After the girly EX and fabulous G37 Vert we need a really macho car to make us feel masculine again.

I can't join you on your QX love, as I think they are horrendous, but I bump that song all the time in the G

Good luck on getting your QX. If I had that kind of money, I would have a GTR (R35), but alas I can barely afford my G, haha.

why? There is no market. BMW is desperate to sell M's.

As much as we all want one, how many of us would be able to afford it? very few.

i think infiniti needs to produce the essence.

$100k range, and AS-IS.

GAME OVER.

the market might not be great right now for M's or even the isF, but there is a small market there, and the initial investment from infiniti wouldnt be that great. there are more positives to bringing to market a g50xs type car than negatives.

i would love to see it too, but please bring it to us without the "x". lets have a proper RWD 6mt variant with a big motor underneath...
