2011 G Announcement Date?

Anyone has any idea when the next generation G will be announced?

The current V36 (started as a 2007 model), was announced in mid April 2006.

One would expect the next generation to be announced in the next coming weeks?

- Maybe at the NYIAS?

Any thoughts?

im pretty sure the V37 models won't be coming out until 2013, maybe 2012 earliest. the 2010 sedans just now got a refresh, and i think the coupe's will probably get a facelift for 2011.

2013 would make it 6 years without a redesign. Doesn't sound unreasonable in my opinion...

You got me there, maybe 2012? The biggest reason I don't 2011 being an option is because they just refreshed the sedans for 2010, so to me it doesnt make sense for them to change it after only 1 year. with the previous gen, the sedans were updated in 2005 i believe, and were changed in 2007. The coupes got the refreshed interior in 05, but didnt get the exterior refreshed til 06, and then replaced in 08. now here in 2010, the sedans were refreshed but the coupes only had the interiors changed. so im just using that as my guideline. trust me though, i would love to see some new g's come out asap

The 05's were refreshed, and redesigned models were out in 07. So a similar trend might be followed.

The G was pretty much just revamped. Doesn't seem likely for a redesign soon.
