Looking to lease an 07 FX35

Hi,

I'm looking to lease the 07 FX35. I'm hoping to get a 12 month lease to wait for the 08 FX. But I have a few questions and I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

1) What's the fair residual value for a 12-month lease?
2) Will I get a better deal from an independent financial company as opposed to using the dealer source leasing?
3) Are 12-month FX leases readily available?
4) What's the going interest rate (money factor) for a lease these days? (I realize this may differ from different parts of the country, but generally speaking).
5) Are there any known problems with the 2007 FX? (e.g. bluetooth?)
6) Are first generation Infiniti vehicles reliable? I'm wondering because I want the 2008 FX when it comes out later this year after its redesign.

If anyone can answer any of these question, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

I'm not sure if they have the 12 month special lease anymore, but I do know that they have a special 27 month lease. For the FX35 AWD, the MF is.00125 (3%) and the residual % is 69%.
I'm also looking to lease an FX35 AWD with the 27mnth lease. I contacted DA MAYOR (Kenny), who is a salesman for Massapequa Infiniti. He is member on this forum, and I've heard he's a
pretty cool guy to deal with, so I'm trying it out. I'll let you know how it works out.
Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Definitely keep me updated on your process as I will do the same. I'm in Chicago, so the market is slightly different, but we shouldn't see too big of a difference.

Regarding the deal you mentioned, the 27 month lease doesn't sound too bad. I was looking for the shortest lease term possible because I know the newly redesigned 2008s are coming out later this year (so I may want to upgrade to that ). Do you think we can get a better deal on these 2007s if we wait a little longer?

Also, the MF looks really good, but do you feel the residual is a little low? I've seen about 82% for a 12 month lease, so I expected around low 70s for a 27 month lease. I guess I could be wrong on this though.

Anyways, good luck and let me know!

this is a great program. 27 month lease with a .00125 money factor and 70% residual w/ 10k miles you can't beat it.

Kenny, is this deal applicable at all dealerships? I'm asking because you're in NY and I'm in Chicago. Thanks!

Thanks for your help!

Now, to be clear, is it 69% residual or 70% residual for this 27 month lease? I guess it's not too big of a difference, but I just want to be clear. Thanks again.

The 69% is for 12K miles a year, while the 70% that Kenny quoted is for 10K miles a year. Clear?

I'll keep you updated on my dealings with Kenny. I'm sure if the deal is attractive enough, you can probably grab a flight to NYC and drive the FX home.
