I keep reading that discount premium isn't as good as branded premium. At a basic level all fuel is fungible, but there is a touch of additives that Chevron/Texaco/Shell put in there to keep injectors clean and the like. Thoughts?

All I've used on any of my cars is Chevron premium. I used Chevron custom
supreme when that was availble....just a few years ago. (100 octane)
To keep everything clean I use Red Line Injector cleaner every 3K miles.

It’s amazing to me how many people don't read the original question, and just start posting various things.

I notice a drop in performance right away I have the G35six speed manual. I put in 89 once and never again. 91 0r 92 all the way.
