Okay, based on your initial impressions and your drive of the FX50, do you feel it's worth the 10 thousand plus dollars over the FX35?

I ordered the FX50 with sport package and 21-inch summer tires.

I love the pics and info on this thread, but I have unsubsribeed from this thread because of the picture size.
The picture size in this thread is absolutely ridiculous.
maybe bruddahmanmatt has a 30" monitor like me, to me the pic size is perfect for my monitor with high res. I guess for regular pc users the standard is around 19" so making the pics smaller would be better overall.

Quick response. Not unsubscribed yet I see.

Dual notebooks and extra monitors running obnoxious resolutions FTMFW.

LOL, I was unsubscribed, but I love the FX so I keep coming back, I just don't go to the pics. Seriously though the pics would be nice in a smaller size, so a lot of us would not have to scroll all over the place to see all the picture.

I think a good res would be 800x600 big enough yet not too small...

Cool

bruddahmanmatt,

How does the approach lighting system look?

The C&D review made it sound pretty cool.

We need video!

Maybe bruddahmanmatt can answer that:
First of all, where is the new FX being manufactured ? USA or Japan ?
Second, if I want to buy it new, take it from the dealer to the port by a truck, and then export it, do I have to pay sales tax in Florida ?
Thanks.

Identical to the system on the EX. Basically when you begin to approach your vehicle, the LED puddle lights under the mirrors illuminate followed by the interior lights in a specific sequence. Honestly, as cool as I think LEDs are, they're utterly useless as puddle lamps. Especially when they're mounted under the side view mirrors and so close to the body they illuminate the car itself.

The FX like all Infinitis sans the QX is still 100% built in Japan.

Take it to a port where? Export it to where? Buy the car where? Vague much? I still probably won't know the answer to your question, but I'm sure if you were more specific with the details (where you want to buy the car, where you want to ship it from/to etc...) someone else may be able to help you out with that.

I live in Orlando, Florida.
I want to buy it from Orlando Infiniti, put it on a truck, drive the truck to the port, probably Miami, put it in the container and then on the ship, and export it to Bremerhaven, Germany. It should be there about 2 weeks later, around July 20th. I wanted to know if I have to pay a sales tax in Florida since I won't be driving it there and in the US at all.

Also, I see there is a $3000 incentive for June for current Infiniti customers, does this apply for the 2009 FX ?

I highly doubt it considering the FX won't technically be for sale until July...I believe.

Actually, it's coming out this month, and it will be for sale on June 25th.
So I was wondering if the incentives for this month will be applicable for the new FX.
