Does anyone know when the FX will be restyled/revamped? The lady wants one.

I have not heard of any changes for the Exterior, they made a few changes for the interior this year. If you are coming to the meet let me know and i will go over all the changes with you. M. Sexton

well, wasn't the FX released a year after the G35 sedan? if so, then it makes sense that it's next in line for a complete redesign, most likely for the 2008 model year.

I've heard rumors somewhere that Infiniti's going to take the FX more uspcale and slightly bigger for the 09 model year, and possibly introduce a smaller, two-door SUV to fill the gap. The new SUV would basically serve the same price range / buyer demographic as the G35 coupe / sedan.

Only available on the FX45, as well as restyled wheels for the 45.

I know this only because my buddy ordered one and was debating btwn the 35 and 45. He ultimately went for the 45 largely because of the chrome trim and the wheels. (Dumba$$ move if you ask me... it's like an extra $10k for the car just for the trim and wheels.)

Well... yah, i know that obviously.... but considering gas prices nowadays and the fact that the 2 extra cylinders really don't make THAT much of a difference... doesn't justify the extra 10k. He only wanted the trim. Didn't care about the engine. That's why i call him a dumba$$

Sorry i didn't clarify that in my first post

I think the FX is still the most futuristic-looking SUV on the road today, so Infiniti could probably get away with interior updates with minor exterial updates for a few more years.

If I were to decide I wanted to get a SUV, based on my experience with the G, I would strongly consider the FX35. It would depend on whether it was a replacement for my truck, or the G. If G, then probably the FX. If truck, I would probably go with a cheaper, more fuel efficient, model
