I was side swiped/slammed yesterday driving home by a hit and run driver. We were approaching a freeway split (5s/405s) in the valley and he realized he needed to get over and just started changing lanes very fast, didn't see me and changed right into me.. he managed to damage ever single part of the driver side of the car but the window. Luckly I was able to maintain control and not impact any other cars or spin out. Unluckly he actually pulled behind me and then over and onto the other freeway as I was pulling over onto the shoulder.

I was hoping somone would have a recomendation for an AWESOME body shop in the Los Angeles area. I can still drive my car so the location is not too much of a concern, I just want it fixed and painted as good as possible.

why didnt you drive after that mother fcker!? man i would be on his *** like no tomorrow getting his plates and calling the cops...your cars got speed use it. but sometimes it happens so ill find a body shop i know lots in the valley

 

The problem is I physically couldn't. It happend right in front of a freeway split and i pulled over to the closet shoulder and he pulled over to the other freeway. I couldnt go backwards to then get on that other freeway.

 

i made the CHP officer take a report and he said that he would check the logs and see if any calls came in with the Lic# around the time i called.

 

I own a body shop located in Orange County. I know it may be a little drive, but we do incredible work here. Give me a call if you want to bring it down.

hey were you by any chance on the 5 freeway on friday around sunset time getting pulled over because there was a G the same color as yours and was damaged the same way who was pulled over going towards LA, i was going in the opposite direction

 

That sucks. Just terrible, hit and run, makes you want to kill the person.

 

Looks like a mean old dog now, no more pretty boy. If you already have that kind of damage, next time fight back!! A similar incident happened to me years ago and the second time he came toward my lane I went in his. Just a hold over from the dirt track days. I'm trying to be a better person now.
