4th to 5th shift a little rough

My 4th to 5th shift is a little rough, by that I mean if you hold a little too much pressure to the right, it gets stuck and will not drop in to 5th. All other gears are fine, even 5th to 6th, is this normal for the G?

It sounds like u are putting too much force to shift into 5th. Try to do it with push of a finger. see how smooth it is.

Yeah, if I lessen up on the pressure to the right it drops in fine, its just I've had a few sticks before- Always Front Drive American Cars, and I never had anything like this. I guess it just takes some getting used to. It just seems like when the shifter is all the way to the right and you push up it should Drop into 5th, but thats not the case, I have to let it drop about a 1/4" to the left before it will drop into 5th, same position and down it drops into 6th ???? So its normal.......?

try more of a RIGHT then Forward rather than an across to the top-right motion.

I don't have any problems whatsoever entering 5th. In fact, it's a straight shot from 4th to 5th. No wiggle, no adjustment for the h-bar, or anythimg. Straight shot.
