I do find the homelink in this car is very fussy though and does not operate nearly as well as the previous two vehicles I had with it. Almost every time it is used it takes repeated times to get my door to operate. Reprogamming does not fix it.
My last Homelink cars worked first time and from a much greater distance.
Do you just press the button and let go? I noticed for me I have to press and hold the button for 2-3 seconds, then my garage door starts to open. On my accord i just hit the button and the garage starts to open.

I've tried everything. Holding it for several seconds is a must for sure. It just doesn't work well.

^^ +1.. i just hold it down a couple secs. works great... i usually start using it several houses down and the garage is usually open when i hit my driveway. rbull... maybe u have a problem with yours. i've got a chamberlain whisperdrive (i think).... and no issues.

True, but the clickers are portable while the mirror is not.
