Has anyone get this to work? I have an automatic garage door, any ideas how to program it on the G35?

Please share some lights. thanks.

I programmed mines...never used it tho. They have a separate manual for it. Pretty simple and self explanatory

If it is a newer garage door (last 10 years) you will have to use the test button on the garage door opener itself. Very easy to do. Just follow the instructions in the book. Mine works great, and I even programed one of the other buttons for my dads garage so he doesn't have to open the door for me.

for most, press the learn button on the opener, within 30 secs press and hold the button on the mirror until the lights flash on the opener.

+1, I have a 3 car garage, all 3 are Wayne Dalton brand and the transmitters on each are the same. My Homelink wouldn't work, so after doing a lot of research I find out you have to buy a converter to seperate the signal(From the Mfg. of the door opener $120.00) for the Wayne Dalton brand doors but not sure if that applies to other brands.

Mine works great but one concern...

It will open my garage door even when the car is off/on, locked, alarm on/off doesn't matter. I don't park inside the garage all the time so it bothers me that anyone who breaks into my car has immediate access to my house.

I think that would apply to any vehicle with a garage door opener in it. the "clickers" work the same way since they are battery operated.

Put a lock on the door that goes from garage to the house and keep it locked.
Problem solved. I am in the same position, but don't worry about it, as I have always had a clicker in the previous cars.

As others have said just follow the instructions in the manual.
I do find the homelink in this car is very fussy though and does not operate nearly as well as the previous two vehicles I had with it. Almost every time it is used it takes repeated times to get my door to operate. Reprogamming does not fix it.
My last Homelink cars worked first time and from a much greater distance.

where in LI are you? i can help you out if you're near massapequa infiniti. most people have a newer garage opener so you will need someone to help you press that test button on the garage opener itself while you are programming the garage remote to the homelink button in your car
