New Grounding Point! What do u think Gordgee?
That is the knock sensor. It is a donut shaped device with an electrical connection along the circumference and a metalic base that contacts the engine. The bolt going thru the center, holds it tight against the mounting surface. I don't think there is an electrical grounding connection, it picks up the shock from engine detonation and sends signal to the control module.

no you dont need one.. if you hook a volt meter up to it and shake it you'll see that it produces voltage..
the only ground GG is missing is the ground thats below the intake variable valve sprocket.. those of you thats installed the stillen engine damper know what i'm talking about
