tint ticket.

Hi,
I got a tint ticket the other day in NJ (along with a speeding ticket). The cop said i have to remove it this time. I got a warning for the tint before but this time he said he will make sure the tints are off. How can I get around this? If I go to some gas station thats licensed to do an inspection, can I give the guy like $50 to write up the fact that my tints are off? Also, I probably wouldn't drive the car to the court just incase..

I never got a tint ticket before so I am looking for some advice. I like how my tints look right now and I don't want to take them off.

Thanks for any advice.

basically, in the event of a ticket, what is the procedure the court follows to make sure you removed it? is a note from an inspection site enough? or will a cop go outside to check?

Just pay the ticket and keep the tint on thats what I did.. It was 50 bucks plus court fee's which came out to 85 bucks.

Tint tickets are simple fix it tickets which law enforcement agencies charge average $15. Inspection of vehicle to performed by an officer, not a local gas station. Only way to get around it to have a friend, who is an officer of the state, to sign off the ticket for you.

You can use a simple heat gun and razor to remove the tint followed up by wiping down with alcohol. Worked in the past for me. Sucks to be ticketed for tint...good luck!

Tint removal.................

If you must remove your tint (drivers/passanger
windows) don't pay someone to do something so
simple my sister could do it. Just get a corner
started with a razor blade and peel the sh*t off.
Most difficult part will be cleaning the windows
with alchol and wipe clean......10min tops! See
I just save you $50..........
