It doesn't matter if you have the note. The note only protects you from using the portable removable sun shades. I actually had a note when the cop pulled me over and he explained it to me. I thought maybe he was BS'ing, but I reread the vehicle code and yup, it's plain as black and white: No front side windows tint.

Blow, but oh well, no more front tint for me.

Thanks for the offer of help. I have a buddy that says he'll do it for me. I just want it off so people can see me interior.
