Im not a fan of mustangs (more of a camaro guy) but this is just WRONG. you dont insult an american muscle car with a japense engine, just like you don not put a corvette engine in a skyline (even if it would fit). Its not supposed to happen.
It's just an engine and it's just a body. Stop getting worked up about nothing. The 280hp RB26DETT is 10x better than the original stocker 289 that was in there so calm down.
Also I guess a whole TON of people have been "insulting" the FD RX7 because the LS1/2 swaps are common and is a badarse swap.
Also people have been putting Mazda rotaries in everything including the kitchen sink for years and years. Japanese/American/European etc...

I watched the other 67 mustang video. It has a 430ci small block under the hood. That is what they used for filming the drift scenes, not the skylined-powered versions.
BTW, they compared the skyline-engined mustang's exhaust note to that of a UPS truck.
