That is one reason why we bought the G35X, it is made for bad winter driving.

 

I take off the Volks and drive it all Winter unless it snows. When the weather gets nice, wheels go back on, I clay bar and Zaino it, and it looks Yummy again.

 

For me it's more than just a car...but yes enjoy it while it lasts.

I drive it last winter and will do it as long as I can afford/drive a care like this.

Life too short, I dont want to spent a few months a year driving a piece of crap while I have this amazing vehicule stored.

If I had enough money to buy another good 4 wheel drive car for winter thing would be different...

 

Yes, the G is fan-tas-tic in the winter.

I don't usually take my G out of the garage when it's
raining but enjoy driving on those crisp cool mornings here in So. Ca.

 

I consider these cars daily drivers. Even though we dont get that much snow in Chicago I go an X so I can play all year round.

 

yes, as I only own two cars. So its not much of an option. Either I drive the G or my wife would. And since she drives scared, I'll leave her the minivan.

I live in West Texas, where we may get an inch or two of snow a year, so I really look forward to driving during the winter here. It's a lot better than this 100-105 business.

 

With snow tires driving the G is a breeze. Without, don't even think about it if there is snow or ice. You will mess up your G or worse. You can get snows and dedicated rims for around $1,100 as stated above.

 

are u kidding me?? chicago gets a a sh1tload of snow all the time, i've been living here my whole life and I dont know what youre talking about.

 

Snow drifting in Rochester with Blizzacks was the only thing great about the winters here.

 

When you look at the whole year, I bet we get less then one week of actual show fall. Its just cold for months but the roads usually not that bad.

 

I drove my car last winter. It's the only car I have. If I get caught without the winter tires, I can drive one of my parents old beaters.

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm north of Edmonton, AB. Sometimes the winters are pretty bad. Last year was ok but winter tires are a must for really cold weather or anything more than a little bit of snow. Only issue I had was sometimes trying to park in or trying to get moving from really slushy areas. Highway travel and braking was just fine.

 

I drive my G in any weather! Heavy rains... the car does fine. Dry days... the car does fine. Being in SoCal, I thought I'd never come across snow. But earlier this year, I was in Yucaipa and it started snowing. I drove my G (with wide summer tires) through the snow without much drama at all.
