How do you jack your car over 10 inches on FOUR jackstand, I am always scared that it slide of jackstands when I jack up the other side.

Mod your car to Indy car style with built in jacks.

Use a low jack to raise the back of the car at the pumkin (Bell Housing) place each stand at the left and right jack points...then jack 1 side of the car at the weld point just in front of the jack point (6inches or so) place stand accordingly. DONE!

^ helps to put a piece of wood or hockey puck on your floor jack cradle when you do this.

If you jack the rear first at the diff, wouldn't you have to make sure you chock the front wheels or something to make sure the car doesn't roll? Not totally sure, but doesn't the e-brake only lock the rear wheels? And considering our cars are RWD, if you lift the back, there isn't anything stopping the car from rolling even if it were in gear. That idea scares me.

I thought common sense said never keep your car on jackstands, because they may have some malfunction and the car would fall. You should get some jackstands. On a side note I'm an idiot that took my front off while the car was jacked up and my only secondary support was a pile if small bricks I put under the axle. Genius yes. Call me McGuyver.

You should be doing front & rear... not side to side.
Use these lift points

I can't jack off the rear diff. The stillen exhaust midpipes get in the way. And I can't jack from the front either. Jack won't fit under the front of the car even if the front wheels are on wood. And I've just got a mild(.5") drop.

Why not side to side? I jacked up my eclipse one side and then the other and didn't have any problems. If you jack up the rear first your car will roll away so don't do that!
