Just switched to 6000k D2S and 6500k Fogs

Install took quite some time. I find it amazing that the front bumper needs to be taken off to get to the back of the headlights. Good thing I used painting tape on the sides of the fenders!

The stock D2R bulbs are really crappy and dull compared to aftermarket bulbs.

Pics to follow tomorrow night, I'm too tired today to take them

How well do the HIDs match up to the high/fog bulbs?

It's close but not a perfect match

The front bumper doesn't need to be taken off to change the bulbs. Just jack up the car and remove the innner wheel liner, you will have ez access......

Now where are the pics! LOL

really!? That would have saved me an hour or so.

Is their a write-up for what you just described? Does the wheel need to be taken off?

No need to take wheel off either. Just jack up the car until the wheel is off the ground to give you the most space possible and remove the black clips and one phillips holding the liner on. You will have direct access to the back of the backs of the lights.

Sorry for the crappy pics. I need to use my tri-pod next time.

Pictures don't do them any justice though. They are 2x brighter in person and have more of a hint of blue.
