well here's my feedback.... look at your original buyers order and if they wrote install rear spoiler then they didn't do anything wrong. if they wrote "install aero package" then they have to install a rear spoiler and the rear underbody diffusers.

as far as installing rear spoilers there are different rear decks (one w/o the rear third brake light and one with) but they won't swap that out-- they'll just disconnect the 3rd brake light (hopefully)

if it looks like crap they shouldn't have installed in on your car. i've had a few spoilers installed onto cars w/o one and when they came in shipped from Infiniti it had little chips I would just order a brand new one.

like gfolo19 said, i actually care about my customer's cars makign sure they are perfect or i'll make it perfect

I'm guessing when you sign the agreement (when you put your money down) that "contract" includes the VIN number on the specific car that you are agreeing to purchase. Unless that areo package is mentioned in that agreement, you may be SOL. Sorry to hear about your bad experience.

Reminder to self. Never, ever, ever agree to dealer-installed "options".

all i have to say is...f*ck all dealerships. they train their employees how to really mess with people, and whoever disagrees with this, then you guys dont know how to judge people. they'll kiss your *** all the way through the sale and the second you reject their offer, they bust a 360. half the guys that work their cant even afford the cars they sell. bottom line is they're all pathetic.

yes. yes i mean sure we all ended up buying our g's in the end and there was that one dealership that helped us out more than the others. but honestly, think about if you said no, or disagreed w/ something along the sale, they all end up turning out as *******s.

now in the spoiler case: it's typical. what do you expect. they charge u 10 times the amount and try to screw u thinking u dont know anything about cars.

I know that, but making sure there's a record of this helps... like votes, every one counts... ok, that was a bad example since that's not exactly how all elections work, but you get the point.

Cool

Schools should teach real life skills like NEGOTIATION...instead of stuff you will never use like calculus......

I hate Stealerships also....but you should have made sure the car had everything you wanted before you signed the paperwork.

But adding a cheap non oem spoiler is BS!

Good luck.

I work at Infiniti of Massapequa which was one of the Launch dealerships for Infiniti meaning we have been one of the longest running dealers open since 1989. just post pics of the aftermarket spoiler b/c if they charged you $800 for a spoiler then it's a OEM one.... if it's a lot less then they had the right to install a replica aftermarket

sometimes we have parts on backorder especially the M-series spoilers have been on national backorder for 3 months. i have customers waiting but they understand.

as far as dealers making money on parts -- OEM parts are a lot of money vs. aftermarket spoilers but we still have to pay someone to install the spoiler on the vehicle. with all the overhead sometimes i still give away a rear spoiler or satellite radio where the dealer doesn't make crap on it.

My point was that I was wondering if my dealer was doing this to me. I just looked at my work order and now I think I have a bit of a problem. It says "Simon's Spoiler" NOT aero kit. They added like 700.00 for it so I think i need to make a call to my dealer. Infiniti of Santa Monica.

That is f'd up. They sold you on the aero kit and then wrote "Simon's Spoiler" on the actual deal.
