What kind of alarm you have for your G?
What kind of alarm you have for your G?
My place just got broken in yesterday and I am thinking my G probably going to be next. What kind of car alarm would you recommend?
I already have LO Jack but an alarm will add extra detergent to those f*** bastards.
It's a weird coincidence. Just had a car for a month and already they want to check me out.

I wouldnt waste your money on an alarm. They can only steal it if they find your keys or if they take it away on a flatbed. The insurance company doesnt give any additional discount for anything other than the stock passive security system. Worst case scenario is they take it away on a flat bed and 2 weeks later you get a check from your insurance to go by a new one.

I agree, an aftermarket alarm is a waste no matter how sophisticated it is. My current insurance, progressive, and my previous 21st Century, didn't give any discount for an additional alarm system.
Like most will say if they want it, they will get it. Lo-Jack on the other hand is only great in my book because at least you get to catch the fucers you stole your car but at the sametime you get it back! Personally I wouldn't want it back! In fact, a lot of insurance companies give a small insignificant discount for having Lo-Jack.
My poor buddy had his car stolen three times and got it back everytime only to see the value of the car depreciate everytime, now he can't even sell the piece of junk.
Stick with the stocker and park in a secure spot is your only real solution, albeit not very reassuring.
