I've been wondering also...what's the proper way to launch at the drag race tracks on a manual?

Kinda, if you brake at a certain spot and apply a bit of gas and then suddenlly floor it you can get somewhat of a launch.

I launch it pretty good. Takes practice. Put it in tronic mode and get it down to first. Pump the brakes twice so it locks up good. Then depending on tire size, power etc. find the RPM range where the car chirps when you come out of the hole. I race my friends 6 MT and we are about dead even, I pull a tad on second to third.

brake and raise your rpms up to around 2500-3000. let go and enjoy. vdc off is better but only recommended at the track.

Have you guys figured out a way around the torque management from brake torquing? ie.. Yaw or SLP sensor switch?
