Where are those 18 ponies coming from

Hey guys i just got a 03 gcoupe , two weeks ago (cant stop smiling) can u tell me where the extra 18 horse power comes from, on the manual 298hp, vs the at's 280. I have an at and i want those extra pony's. i would like to get my 280 into the 300's what would be the easist way thats not going to damage any of the drivetrain?

If you want your car in the 300's, without going FI...see my sig - otherwise you won't get there. You don't have 280 HP to the rear wheels now, and it's not just 18HP. Your likely sitting at about 215's or so for an AT car at the rear wheels.

Not a threat

I just happen to know what it takes to pull a VQ over 300 hp.
What kind of lift and overlap does your cam profile have.
This could get good, a little defensive my friend.

oooookkkkay, well isms i got u on the whole forced induction thig, but i dont want to shorten the life of the engine, i use to have a drop top 98 mustang cobra with 328 hp and i kinda miss the whole neck snapping effect off the line. My liscensed stayed susppended so i dont need all those ponies to street race, so what was the other thing (sig) that u were talking about so that i can crank a little more out of this engine?

I'm beginning to wonder if you know what your talking about or just fishing for info on your own? Very few people go to the extent I have on my car, and many want the info....but I don't give it as it is proprietary for certain reasons.

290 duration and 10.9mm lift...have you done your homework or not???

Don't challenge me...I know most of what's in the car - I didn't build it myself and had it built, but still know most all of what went in and the specs, and I'm not giving you the blueprint for it either.

Also - glad you were waiting...I was sleeping....those in the know can rest at night

IMS 1/2" lift = .500 0r 10.mm would be around .430 - 450 lift
290 duration is way out of whack, must be advertise duration your talking about.
235* to 255* duration would be a radical cam with a lobe center of 114*
I still feel your claims over (way) 300 HP are BS.

I didn't build it myself and had it built, but still know most all of what went in and the specs, and IM sure you do!!
