so its a given that the difference you pay to fill up on premium is maybe $1.70 or so higher.... which YES will add up.... so why dont u just spend a few bucks, get a better-flowing air filter and make that tank last longer and end up either saving money by not filling up quite as often, OR filling up just the same and getting slightly better performance??

i mean seriously, if you're worried about your $1.70 adding up....... then if i were you i would just turn a couple lights off in my house that are normally on and make up the difference

im not worried about filling it up with premium..i didnt know it was such a difference..tatsw why i havent been filling it up recently

I filled my up with premium only, $3.25 per gallon about $65 to fill when it empty.

alright, like I said before, you're not going to get internal damage from using midgrade!!! Even in the manual of my V8 BMW it says it is able to take 87 octane gas without harming the engine at all, and thats a 4.4 liter, not a 3.5. And definentaly not a 3.5 with 89 octane. Unless you hear knocking nothings wrong.
