hey whatsup you guys, i got a G a few weeks ago, it came with pinstripe and I took it off just the other day. I used a blow-dryer and this rubbery/plastic wedge, similar to what 'tinters' use. Upon close inspection, I saw what seemed to be a scratch, at first I was worried that I did this when I was removing the pinstripe, but the line is so damn straight, so I dismissed that, I'm wondering if perhaps its 'clear-bra' because it has a lot of that on the front of the car and the surrounding areas. Here are some pictures, any feedback would be appreciated.

 

Try buffing that with PC using something like Meguire Scrach remover.

 

does it extend accross the entire car?

 

might be glue from the pinstrip.. if it is then use some goof-off. it'll take it right off.

I've tried the scratch remover... it seemed to have no effect. what is pc?

 

porter cable 7424 orbital polisher. I think you didnt get much of a result because your hand cant polish as fast as a machine.

 

it looks like a clear bra across the whole side? or is it residue from it?

 

probably the glue, either goto the dealer and get the spray they use, or nail polish remove works too.
