3M Clear Bra?

Anyone have this? Dealer offered it to me for $1000 installed. I didn't take it, but found it here DIY for under $378 shipped.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

$1000.00 is a little expensive. Inskip Infiniti does it for $695.00 lifetime warranty as long as you own the car (bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors)

those guys tried to sell me the world... all i wanted to do was get the keys to my car. I did end up buying the service to 60k for $1100. If they replace instead of inspect at 30k and 60k, it will be worth the money.

Does the clear bra actually work?
What if your on the highway and a rock desides to nail your bumper?
Will it dig through the 3m?
I want one really bad but am very confused about the whole idea.!!
Need some input on this.!!
Thanks in advance.!!

A lot of us like them and if the job is done right, you can't see it.
$1k is too steep.....check around for a reputable shop close by....there are many of them and you should be able to cut that price in half.

I have 3M and love it. I'd recomment it to anyone.

Colin.

The film can be a b@tch to install. The 3M is a much better product. It is a thicker film, is stickier and much harder to manipulate that some of the other films. Once installed the 3M is more transparent than the others. You also tend to see more of the imperfections with the 3M. The benefit is that the 3M doesn't yellow the other films will.

If you are in RI or MA PM me and I can get you a decent price on the 3M installed. I work for Inskip.

yes, clear bra works very well. I wouldnt get another car without having it put on before I drive it off the lot.

My clearbra has saved my bumper from many, many nicks. I will never own another car without one. $1,000 is way to steep. I watched when mine was installed and there is no way in heck I would try the installation myself.

Dude, your full of shlt. First of all, you cant even see the clear bra unti lyou get right up on the car. Second, if you have the money to go get a new hood every time you get a rock chip, what the hell are you doing driving a G35? If you have that kind of money why not something a little more expensive. Obviousely your talking out your a$$.

Anyway, dont listen to that tard. The clear bra is a great product and will keep you from getting rock chips and bug stains in your paint. It will save you a lot of money in the mong run and will help maintain some of the resale value of your vehicle. It is also not something you want to install yourself. Get it done professionaly the first time so you wont have to go back and buy another kit and get it reinstalled later.

I have had Clear Bra for 3 years now and it is pretty much invisible unless you are right on top of the car. No nicks in it at all. I have nicks in the paint ABOVE the clear bra. $1000 is way expensive. You should be able to get it between 5-600. Do not attempt to do it yourself.
