The outgoing M3 maynot even be in the equation on this query. . . Seeing as how the new G35 may have it's hands full with the 335i. Let's see if Infiniti steps up to the plate with the G without stepping on the toes of the Z.

New G35 sedan can do the quarter in 13.9 at 103mph. The e46 M3 does it in about 13.6 @ 105mph. Not worth the price difference in the least. The new coupe will likely debut with more power than the sedan, and the G37 is coming eventually so I'd say 2008 G35/G37 Coupe for sure.
