The one in the Lexus is more advance. It uses a mirco chip and a radio transmitter to scan for the key when it's near the car. ONe the car knows it's in the car and it's the right key then you can push the button to start. In the cobra setup...I'm think he still needs the key to unlock then push start like the s2000...

That's not the point...Thr INDY cars and exotic cars have that function...They really didn't need a key because they are multi-million cars that are garaged and guarded...I guess someone saw that idea and wanted to use that on the normal cars...But at the time they had to use the key still to avoid theft...But since Lexus and the other super cars don't need the key anymore then its a cool function...
