Two weeks...you should still be able to fix it like how Polishthrust had explained it. It'll take time to get it perfect. If it comes out crappy, I'd take it back and just put the vinyl overlay on. It's all about experience and apparently your tint guy doesn't know how to fix the matrix problem.
