That's only for the cars with intelligent key. The 6MT has the same remote as the all the other G35s as well as some Maxima and Sentra.

My intellikey is SO streamlined and futuristic that it always manages to fall out of my right pocket and into the crevis between the seat and center tunnel. And NO I am not smart enough to start keeping it in my left pocket.
