haha, a bug I managed to get over some how... maybe because of the cost vs. benefit and thinking I could get a new car in 2009 that would be quite fast stock and less $$ to modify helped.

Ding Ding. 2 Things I regret with my turbo.

Cost of putting the thing in and having it run perfectly vs buying a different car (Evo/STi/M3/335i etc)

And to have the thing run safely and reliable.

How are you running the TN kit at 7psi?

I doubt many STis and Evos stay stock. I would imagine most of the BMWs stay stock though.

Question

I'm not sure if this qualifies..
I just ran against a authentic Mustang Saleen (s/c) ~450 hp

i ran him twice and killed him both times.. about a car length..
he kept trailing away~ but never really looked like he was gaining..

he claims that he was trying to get me to pull up to him..

your opinions???

He's lying...lol. Thats the number one excuse in the book....I was waiting for you to pull up. I want to do forced induction on the G but if problems are any like my past I may stay away until the price of the motors have gone down . I had a turbo 99 SI running 16lbs of boost but I dumped 8k worth of work into after the turbo install and ended up getting hit by an OUI then I had a supercharged LS/VTEC which gave a few G's a run for it's money

Would care to just shre with us the headaches you've had since going forced induction with the G35? On average what would you say it cost to run forced induction correctly?

forced induction just means you have to stay on top of the car and listen for any bugs. my boy's '04 vortech'ed coupe was virtually problem free for the past 2 years it's been running. only thing he had was he needed to change the belt

1.How do you know it was an authentic saleen? There are a ton of Faleens out there who look exactly the same. Did you get to see under the hood?

2.There are 3 versions of the Saleen with varying levels of power. The most is close to 500 engine hp, but around 400rwhp. How do you know which one it was?

3. What are your hp/tq numbers and wieght?

4.The saleens that are over 400rwhp are 99% of the time in the mid to high 12's.

well... i just kinda took his word for it.. he said 12.5 1/4 mile.. and 425 hp.. most of the exterior did look like it.. and definitely sounded like it... very clean and crisp... not like the other blown mustangs i've heard
