350GT rebadge to G35, 350Gt rebadge to G35

Something i thought i would like to share with G owners! During vacation in Hong Kong this summer, my dad was looking to buy a second car (mostly imported striaght from japan), so logically, we went to second hand car dealerships. So i was snooping around trying to look for a G35 coupe and see how much it would cost. And after a few dealerships, i found a white G35 coupe. Then i took a closer look, it was actually a 350GT rebdaged as a G35 coupe! I guess i just never get the mentality of rebadging a car, especially from infiniti to nissan!

People always want the version they can't have/import. And since the cars are, essentially, exactly the same aside from some expected differences for the various territories it's sold in [left hand vs. right hand drive, badging, etc etc]

+1 for the myth of the greener grass

Luckily I know a guy in Tokyo that is part of a Skyline 350gt club out there- they're all into rebadging to Infiniti. Traded strait across for my Nissan airbag cover, and all the rest of my JDM badging Always want what you can't have (or at least what's hard to get).
