So I've got this mod bug thing that seems to be going around and I'm probably looking to spend ~$500 on upgrades this fall. I'm trying to decide between some basic appearance-related work (painted side mirror mounts, engine cover, battery covers, touch-up job on various places, etc.) and engine/performance mods. Hours of research later, I'm still completely undecided on what performance mods I would want. Someday I'd like to consider going FI, so I want to avoid mods that would just get junked later. Anybody got thoughts on good mods in this price range that would still work with a FI setup down the road?

I'm open to any and all...
