I check mine before I start the car. Then that gives me a good idea where ZERO is. I've filled up to 18.8 gallons but not this close just yet. Maxed out at 385 miles on a tank of gas on that too.

 

Aside from completely running out lol.. the most i've hit was, I believe, 19.94ish?

 

well doesnt seem so other people have had similar experiences. I have filled at this station for quite a while and it has been consistent with miles per tank to gallons etc. i keep track every fill up.

I filled my gas tank with 17.85 one time and I can tell that the fuel is coming out (almost). Even though the trigger clicked many times I kept on pushing it.

But be careful if the fuel gas touches anything in this situation (everything will "BOOM")

 

i average 16 to fill up, but the most i have pumped was 18.something

 

holy **** thats a lot. ive never filled more than 17.5

 

the worst i've done is let the gas light pop on once, as soon as it went on, i got gas. other then that i usually fill up at half tank or 1/4 tank

 

i made it back and forth from boston to nyc, about 18 gallons/ 400 miles. Talk about crappy MPG

So, how far can we drive when our MTE miles to empty says ZERO??? I guess 2-3 gallons is the reserve, whether it says so in the manual or if it is that much in real world (when the fumes really leave you stranded eheh)

Most I ever got was 446 miles out of 17.2 gallons. Duno what I was doing on that tank, but I come nowhere close to that economy nowadays.

hmm for some reason, lately at chevron stations i cant top my fuel tank off... it only fills 7/8 of my tank whys that
