Filled 19.908 gallons of gas today.

Yeah, title says all I couldn't believe how close I came to emptying out. Anyone get any further than that? I almost drove another couple miles to the auto parts store I might have been stranded if I tried that. Lucky I didn't!

Hope you didn't get any contaminants on the bottom of the tank into your system.

I've never even topped 17 gallons. That's absolutely insane. Post a scan of your receipt, I gotta see this!!!

where was the gas needle at? the top of the 'E' or in the middle?

The closest i've come is like 19 Gallons... I always play taht "Oh I have enough, i'll go when I'm going to work in the morning" game... but then I decide its not worth the risk LOL

according to that Skeleton thread he says once the Low Fuel light comes on you have at least 2 gallons left. I didn't think there would be that much left. Woo Hoo!! that's an extra 38-40 miles I can squeeze out of her!

I did that once and ran outta gas on the highway. Never again...but still I'm intrigued. I wish I could see where your needle ended up!

BTW our fuel level light comes on with 4 gallons remaining in your tank. Mine is consistently at or around 16 gallons pumped. If yours isn't. Then get it fixed or you've probably learned to live with it already!

Call Infiniti and see if theres any way it could possibly run with the tank that dry...then call your county and the guy in charge of weights and measures!
