you have to be mindful thats all.

I was driving in the rain (off) and banged 3rd and she
started to come around on me. For me....that was a fun
time doing 60mph when she started to dance.. But, not for everyone

I drive with it on almost always. Under planned heavy acceleration/shifting I will sometimes turn it off for a moment. On my car it really only intrudes under near full throttle shifts or strong acceleration around a corner. The safety factor far outweighs the infrequent momentary engine cut off or braking.

I drive with my VDC off unless its wet out, then I'll turn it on.

I used to drive with it on at all times, but I got tired of gunning the throttle and the car cutting power. Damn turbos.....

I too drive with it off most ot the time. Only when it's wet or early morning do I keep it on.
