Sorry if this is repetitive, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the side mirrors and mounts. I'm going to get the mounts painted, and if I remove them myself the guy's only going to charge me ~$30. If he has to figure it out, it's going to be ~$150.

I'm looking for pics and/or step-by-step instructions (I'm not exactly mechanically gifted). If you know that this has been asked and answered before, can you be so kind as to post the link? I couldn't find anything when I searched.

Thanks.

You need to remove the door panel first. There are 3 nuts that hold on the mirror and unplug the wire harness.

Anybody got pics of this ^? I looked around and found some pics of how to get the door panel off from a DIY on the window-up mod, but I haven't found anything on the mirror yet.
