I noticed that on my brand new G under both front wheel wells there are holes that look factory and you can see pipes and wiring, etc, is that normal and safe? Water, dirt, etc will be getting inside there that cannot be a good thing!!

 

That's likely drain holes and/or cooling holes......hard to say without pics.

At your next service, show the technician...he may shed some light on it for you.
