i highly doubt it due to liability concerns. dealers wouldn't want to be sued for selling products deemed unsafe....

this is common sense.

Or more realistically. It's like the notebook battery issue. It doesn't matter if you have the battery in a Dell, Sony, HP, etc. It's the BATTERY that is the issue, not the notebook.
Not true, if you have a ***** for a dealership.

Anyone asked an Infiniti dealership about this recall yet to see what they're going to do?

The 06' HIDs are not aftermarket, so it's a moot point. Besides, the 06' HIDS have the D.O.T stamp of approval on them, so they are legal in all 50 states. Putting in 3rd-party fabbed projectors into an Integra is completely different, because those are not Honda/Acura parts, and those do not have the D.O.T stamp of approval.

Ask him to read pg 18 of your Warranty Booklet to you. They are NOT considered aftermarket. Sure, you put them in after the fact, but the warranty explicitely covers that case. In my experience, when you show them the actual verbiage, they'll change their tune. The acura dealership tried to void my warranty on our TL because I didn't have the dealership perform regular maintenence. When I told them about the sectionin the warranty booklet that talked about that, they changed their tune, and replaced my tranny free of charge.

According to this post the cutoff is wrong on the driver side and maybe blinding on coming traffic. https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...=124805&page=2

Hmm...now I have a 3M clear bra on my 06 which also covers the headlights and as you guys know, having the headlights redone would be pricey. How will they handle this? I am guessing I am SOL.

I see some rainbow colored headlights on many Civics and similar high end vehicles around town. I wonder if Infiniti can install those as part of this TSB.
