Depending on where your at it may take more than 2 days to get to you. How much did you pay for it because they currently have a group buy going on for the headlights. Here's the group buy thread, https://g35driver.com/forums/exterior-vendor/125775-06-coupe-headlamp-kits.html

i dont think its fair to the stealership if your dumbass decided to put an 06 headlight into an 05 and under G... i mean, if u bought it from them, i undertand and u should get a refund or a replacement.

but if u bought ur shlt on ebay and then tried to go to the dearler demanding warranty coverage, i dont know about that.

anyways, imma call the dealer tomorrow and see what they can do to my 06 headlights. i'll ask if i can keep my olds one and them i'll sell them to anyone here for 550 shipped.

'06 headlights are '06 headlights, no matter who or where you bought them from. The recall is on the '06 headlights themselves, so I don't know why the dealership ship wouldn't warranty them, unless they were some ebay knock offs, whether it was on an '03, '04, or '05 coupe.

Take for example a TV or any item for that matter, whether or not you bought it from a store or from ebay and there is a recall for that particular item, the manufacturer has to take back the item and replace it b/c obviously there is some sort of defect to it.

Doesn't matter what the dealership says, read the warranty booklet. Infiniti says it is covered. The same way a Nismo exhaust is covered should you install one, even though that didn't come with the car either.

The warranty booklet is explicit in describing what is covered, when it is covered, and how it is covered. Infiniti says the warranty covers all genuine Nissan/Infiniti parts and accessories. What is the 06' Headlight? It's made by nissan right? Then it is a genuine nissan part, and is covered since the warranty says it covers all nissan parts. It also says that the part needn't have been installed by Nissan at the factory. So this covers you installing it yourself.

+1, and also if by any chance anyone out there happens to have installed the '06 projectors on their '03 or '04 and is out of warranty, it should still be covered at this is a recall and NOT a warranty issue.

According to this post the cutoff is wrong on the driver side and maybe blinding on coming traffic. https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...=124805&page=2

It also doesn't effect all 06' headlights, because I already looked at mine, and the cutoff is going in the correct direction. (ie, it looks almost identical to the one on our TL)

I'm thinking some of the units got mixed up with the RH-drive JDM units or something.

whatever it is, if there is a true recall, i guess 06 owners will be hearing it in the mail to make an appointment for the change and well let you know

can't we adjust the freaking cutoff lines? i know for sure my left headlight beams is about 2cm off... the cutoff is a little higher then the right..

my integra has a straight cutoff line.... also can be adjusted up, down, left and right...

a 35k+ car can do that?

good luck with that.. all the used part would be sent to pick your parts or back to the factory for "modification".
