Was that VDC kicking in?

I was running a little late this morning. Stuck in traffic. Was getting irritated so when I was about to drive off I killed the ignition. I restarted and gunned it to make the green light. Car made a shudder effect as I was gunning it, sounded like VDC was keeping it under control? Sound about right? That sucks.

well if your wheels feels that they're losing tracticing (peeling out), the computer will drop the power to the wheels. kinna feels like youre about to stall. the "SLIP" will blink semi rapidly to remind you that the vdc is working.

Yup, that's the VDC alright. It makes you feel like you're not giving it enough gas, but definitely helpful going into turns. I love to drift and all, but not when there's traffic

Oh definitely. You probably misunderstood me. I meant that VDC will keep you from drifting going into a turn.

You should try it sometime, just turn VDC off and take a sharp turn (with nobody around of course). I'm not used to RWD and all the power when I first tried it in my G (coming from a 91 celica), so I almost hit the curb But I got the hang of things now
